  • House of Maliq magazine is famous, not because the content is exactly great, but as a result of controversial covers like this:

Seriously, it’s hard to forget this unforgivable cover featuring Kaffy and an unwilling chicken.

Or this incredibly confusing one with Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha. Was she supposed to look like a tree?

In the usual fashion of controversy, the people at House of Maliq ushered in the new year with popular model, Tania Omotayo, posing with an actual cockroach on her shoulder!

    Na wa o!

We’re just here waiting for someone to come and give a ‘fake deep’ interpretation of this shoot sha.

  • These Pictures From Davido’s ‘This Day Style’ Cover Are Wavy AF

    1. Davido is one of the Nigerian artists currently enjoying the benefits of international exposure in 2016.

    2. Following the release of his latest music video, ‘How Long’, which featured Tinashe from his new EP, ‘Son Of Mercy’, it was only normal for dope magazine covers to follow.

    3. Of course, none other than the iconic TY Bello, took these amazing shots. Who else were you expecting?

    4. She described Davido’s portraits on Instagram as “a love story of art, birthing rejection and defiance which paves way for cleansing and peace.

    5. This is just beautifully artsy!

We can’t wait to see more amazing Nigerian magazine covers like this. In the meantime, watch Davido’s single with Tinashe below:

  • Magazine covers are usually symbolic and often portray a theme that gives an idea of what main article is about.

However, several magazine spreads within and outside Nigeria have been more controversial than anything else. We can never forgive Wizkid for this ridiculousness.

Sitting down with Fame Extra magazine, popular OAP and slay queen, Toke Makinwa, talked about life after the scandalous separation from her estranged husband, Maye Ayida.

As deep and touching as the whole interview was, we need to talk about this highly ridiculous picture which features a well-dressed Toke, surrounded by dishevelled children in a ghetto.

Please, what does her separation have to do with these children?

Just look at the child clutching at her clothes, is she supposed to be some ‘ghetto saviour’ or what?

We need an explanation as to why she was looking all white and bright in the midst of these disheveled children sha. Share your thoughts on this in the comments section.

  • Could This Girl Be The Next Nigerian Supermodel?

Celebrity photographer and musician, TY Bello is famous for taking breathtaking photos with exceptional lighting.

She recently photographed Nigerian-British rapper, Tinie Tempah for the cover of the prestigious THISDAY style magazine.

While Tinie Tempah looked amazing, it was this Nigerian lady who stole the spotlight! She posed so effortlessly, didn’t she?

Well, she happened to have randomly walked into the shoot while hawking her agege bread and made the picture even more beautiful.

Falling in love with the photo and the lady’s gracefulness, TY Bello via her Twitter and Instagram pages expressed her interest in meeting her and probably making her a model.

Do you know who she is? We hope she is found and we look forward to seeing her grace beautiful magazine covers and runways.
