Every person needs a space to call theirs. Many Nigerian men have interests that might not exactly fit with the general theme of your living environment. Enter the man cave. 

Think of the man cave as a personal sanctuary, everything designed just how you like it. Depending on your tastes, here are a couple of must-haves to fit in your ‘manctuary’.

1. Recliner

Unless you plan on standing in your man cave or sitting on plastic chairs (ew), a recliner is the first thing you should get. Think something comfortable and cozy.

2. TV

This one is compulsory. And you don’t get to skimp when buying a TVs, bigger is always better. Don’t believe what your partner told you; size does matter. Go for the best TV within your budget range. How else will they beat you 8-2 on FIFA 21? How will you watch the trash your team on a cold night in Stoke?

3. Gaming Console

If you’re a gaming guy, a console is obviously non-negotiable. Doesn’t matter if you’re an Xbox or Playstation guy; a console would fit really well in this setup. The best part is that you can play all you want without bothering anyone in the living room.

4. Mini-fridge

The second worst thing after getting your penis stuck in a zipper is a warm beer. A mini-fridge is perfect for your drinks, snacks and random beverages. No dull am.

5. Personal touches

This is where you get wild out. If you’re a football nutcase, you could hang your favourite sports junk like poster and jerseys. If you’re a nerd, a man cave is a great place to show off your nerd stuff. If you like anime, a poster of Itachi watching broodingly over your man cave would really fit the setting.
