8 Types of Nigerian Men You’ll Find in the Big Brother Naija House

One thing I noticed after doing some research (read as: watching Big Brother Naija consistently) is that there are different categories of Nigerian men that you’d find in every BBNaija house. These are some of the ones I discovered.

    The lover boy

Under this umbrella, you have the men who fall in love and develop genuine relationships. Then there are the ones who don’t like themselves and go after women that clearly don’t rate them, e.g. Ozo, Frodd and Saga. These ones lose all their focus and even forget about the game they came into the house to play. This last part describes Sheggz too. From the way he’s behaving, he has definitely lost focus.

    The gym buffs

Every chance they get, they’re working out — morning, afternoon and night. I don’t know which war they’re preparing for, but they need to let us know on time, please. When it comes to tasks that involve physical strength, this is where they shine.Tobi Bakre and Saga, I hail you people o

    The IJGBs

These ones came all the way from obodo oyinbo to win ₦100m. Coincidentally, a lot of them happen to come from England. I wonder what’s happening in Queen in Elizabeth’s land that’s pursuing these IJGBs back home for money. And they never fail to remind us that they live abroad. Any slight chance they get, they’re talking about their lives in the abroad or talking about their Western achievements or how rich they are.

    The playboys

The ones who come to win money and break hearts. Almost all the women in the house want them. This year, Groovy is the one taking the crown. One babe even got disqualified because of him. King shit.

    The foodies

The foodies just enter the house and eat every second of the day, as if they were starving before they entered the house. That’s how Brighto constantly made semo at night, and Eric buried his face in Indomie. Leave food and focus on what you came to do, pls.

    The married ones

People always ask why married men go on the show, and my question is, married men no go chop? Being married and in the house works for you if you’re faithful and exciting. Collect past questions from Mike abeg.

    The ones who have suffered

They’re the ones who have carried the world on their back and suffered the most. Their strategy to win? Trenches and suffer head Olympics.

The “I’m too big for this house”

These people always talk about how they don’t belong in the house with the rest of the “paupers”. Any small thing, you’ll be hearing “I don’t need the money. Do you know who I am outside of the house?” Sorry o, ominirichest of them all. Every time they’re always talking about how their fathers or great grandfathers own half of the country. Oya now, wetin carry you come?

6 Relationship Lessons We’ve Learnt From BBN “Level Up” So Far

We asked for drama and Big brother said, “Hold my beer.” With two houses, fake housemates and the general chaos of this season, it’s hard to imagine the show is just barely four weeks old. From love trapeziums, friendship spats and individual conflicts, there are some important lessons to learn.

    Every disappointment is a blessing

Sometimes you have to let go of something to get something better. Remember how distraught Groovy was when Beauty got disqualified? He was literally moping around the house. But look at him now — the most sought-after and honestly, we love it for him.

If you see what you want, go for it

Even though the feeling may not be reciprocated, at least, you tried. I mean, look at Doyin — or maybe if Amaka had simply told Groovy how she felt about him, he would have been with her instead of Phyna.

    Love fiercely and fearlessly

With the amount of breakfasts flying around, we understand why you’d be scared to wear your heart on your sleeve. Sure, people may call you a simp. But if we’ve learnt anything from the “Shella” ship is that, if you love someone you have to be intentional. Tell them and show them.

You should totally find out QUIZ: Plan a Date and We’ll Reveal Your BBN Soulmate

    Men will stain your white

Know this and know peace. Don’t lose sight of your goal because of a few hours of pillow talk and under-the-duvet moments. Because the same man you’ll get in trouble for, will not only replace you, he’ll do it a week after your ‘split’ and with your friend. We’re sure Beauty is boiling watching Groovy all loved up with Phyna. Smh.

    Love is wicked

Somebody will like you but you’ll say you don’t like them, you like somebody else, but that person will not like you because they’re chasing someone who doesn’t rate them. And that’s how, just like that, breakfast has touched everybody.

Pro tip: Na mumu dey love. Always stay guiding.

Set boundaries and know where to draw the line

Never accommodate something you’re not okay with even if it’s done by someone you care about. For Khalid, having sex on live television might have been okay, but he chose to draw the line at drinking alcohol. And who are we to judge?

  • BBNaija7 Week 3: Everything You Need to Know

BBNaija7 Week 3: Everything You Need to Know

As we enter the fourth week in the BBNaija house, here’s everything that happened in Week 3.

    Biggie made them switch houses

On the 8th of August, level 1 housemates moved from the coloured house to the black and white house, and level 2 housemates packed their baggages from the black and white house to the coloured house. It now begs the question, “which house is now the trenches house?”

    Adekunle won head of house

When Adekunle won head of house, he nominated housemates from level 1 to be put up for eviction. Those housemates were Groovy, Ilebaye, Khalid, Phyna and Bryann.

    They had a fashion show

The theme was Gen Z fashion, and they made all their clothes by hand. Level 2 housemates won the challenge, but if you watched the show, who were your favourites?

RELATED: QUIZ: Which BBN Level Up Housemate Matches Your Personality

    The Chichi and Ilebaye fight

Orijin threw a party for the housemates on Saturday night, where Chichi danced with the latest widower in town, Groovy. Then Ilebaye pushed Chichi, so of course, Chichi pushed back. Lo and behold, Ilebaye went and brought Phyna to dance with Groovy, throwing Chichi away again. Now, according to Ilebaye, she only did it because she, Groovy and Phyna were up for eviction and they needed to bond before they left. Chichi called Ilebaye a low-life market woman, and honestly? We don’t even understand the fight.

    Ilebaye tried to kiss Kess

Now, Kess made it very clear he’s a married man who loves his wife, but Ilebaye still made moves on him after the Origin party. We need to understand why. It’s because of all these things we crowned Ilebaye Week 3’s Queen of chaos.

Groovy and Phyna became a thing

Now, if you remember, Groovy was with Beauty before she got disqualified. Phyna was Beauty’s friend. Amaka also likes Groovy. Groovy said he likes Chomzy.

But after the Orijin party, and a lot of conversations, Phyna and Groovy served us serious PDA. Safe to say we have a new ship in town? Well, Groovy said he likes Chomzy, and Phyna said she doesn’t mind being a side chick so hmm. Amaka might not be taking it too well, but our “words of affirmation” Queen isn’t letting that hold her down.

Bella and Sheggz were doing one kind

I think the Bella and Sheggz ship is the only one still floating. Wahala for the remaining Sunken Ships

Anyways, Sheggz keeps having these weird conversations with Bella and while a part of us feels the babe needs to be saved, she said she’s used to “princess treatment” like this, so who knows? Also, we think Biggie should put them against each other more often because it was nice to see them compete in the Munch It challenge.

Allysyn and Hermes were getting closer

From Allysyn wearing Hermes’ jacket on the first day, to the dances and looks they’ve shared, this is a ship people have been looking at with side eyes. Then at the Orijin Saturday night party, we saw them dancing together yet again. They look cute together, but will the ship eventually sail? Who knows, because shippers are losing their minds and everyone is scattering left and right. If your friend is a shipper, pray for them.

    Ilebaye and Khalid were evicted

Ilebaye and Khalid eventually got evicted, so we move. We say bye to our Queen of chaos and our fornicator who draws the line at alcohol.

QUIZ: Which BBN “Level Up” Housemate Matches Your Personality?

With the very interesting housemates in the BBNaija House this year, we’re curious to know which of them matches your personality.
    So take this quiz.

  • The 7 BBNaija Couples We’re Rooting for in 2022

The 7 BBNaija Couples We’re Rooting for in 2022

Someone needs to tell the new Big Brother Naija housemates to be calming down. These guys stepped into the house and coupled up faster than Buhari’s urge to travel outside Nigeria. But with Big Brother Naija slowly quickly into a couple’s show these days, these are the ships you need to look out for this season.

Whether they last or not is another gist entirely.

    Beauty and Groovy

Meet the king and queen of cuddling at night and airing each other during the day. Beauty and Groovy have an interesting dynamic where they both focus on the game during the day, but once the sun goes down, it’s cuddling galore. The way they stare into each other’s eyes is something else sha.

    Bella and Shegz

Omo, Bella and Sheggz didn’t even wait for a new day to break after entering the house before they started their own ship. They both stepped into that Big Brother Naija house and haven’t left each other’s side since. If you liked Kiddwaya and Erica, then this is the ship to camp behind. They’re both attractive and like to do cute shit together.

    Phyna and Guinness

If there’s one thing Phyna will do in that Big Brother Naija house, it’s down a chilled bottle of Guinness to calm her nerves and have a good time. This ship is the one that I can see lasting up to the very end, and even outside the house. You can’t help but stan a woman who opens beer bottles with her teeth.

    Khalid and Danielle

These two are always doing hanky panky under the duvet, and I absolutely love it! The Khalid and Danielle ship is fairly new, so I’m not sure what direction it’s going, but either way, I’m here for it.

RECOMMENDED:  Things We Want to See in BBNaija Season 6 — and Things We Don’t

    Doyin and Cyph

After doing some intense mouth wrestling at the last Saturday night party, we can’t wait to see how the relationship between Doyin and Cyph will pan out. We understand that they’re in different houses, but if the heart is willing, a long-distance relationship is nothing. Can the church say, amen?

Hermes and “One day man go blow”

    No one:

Hermes singing with all his power and might: “One day man go blooowwww!”

We’ve heard you Hermes. Please, blow so we can rest.

    Allysyn and Adekunle

Adekunle had his eyes on Allysyn from the moment he entered the Big Brother Naija house. Remember when he covered her because she was cold?

Even though Adekunle may come across as boring, and they’re both acting like they’re in a 40+ relationship with all their plenty talk that leads nowhere, I can’t deny that they both make for an attractive couple.

  • 10 Types of People You’ll Find in the BBNaija House

10 Types of People You’ll Find in the BBNaija House

Nigerians love reality shows, especially ones packed with drama, sexual content, and promises of chaos. This is why Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) has become a national favourite. And even though each season comes with a different theme or twist, one thing remains constant — the characters of the housemates on the show.

    The Ladies’ man

Every season, there’s a dangerously attractive male housemate. Tall handsome and a 10/10 actual spec. He has women in and out of the house fawning over him. Even though BBNaija Season 7: Level Up has just started, it’s clear who has this title already.

    Miss endowed

These ones have a banging body and they live to flaunt it. Unarguably the curviest female in the house, they may appear vain and superficial but they’re smart and never take their eyes off the bag.

    Upcoming artist

Some people get into the Big Brother house for the experience, others for the prize money. And then there are the ones who just want to sell their music. Makes us wonder why they didn’t go for Nigeria’s Got Talent instead. But with previous winners like Efe, Laycon, and Whitemoney, this seems like a winning strategy?

The one with an accent, init

There’re two kinds of people here. On one hand, we have those who were either born abroad, schooled there, or travel abroad a lot. They’re not really there for the money, and it shows. You have to listen closely to what they’re saying to understand them.

Then there’s the one that went to Dubai once and somehow developed an Ameri-Igbo accent. You also need to pay attention to hearing them because their accents are as unstable as the national power grid

    The cook

Husband or Wife material 100 yards. They use Nigerians’ love for food to win the other housemates over. We can’t tell if they genuinely like cooking or if cooking is their strategy.

    Life of the party

They aren’t necessarily the best dancers but their burst of energy and jolly vibes make them the highlight of every party. We look forward to the Saturday night parties especially because of them.

It’s too early to call it this year, but I have my eyes on Phyna, the hype mistress, and Chichi, the exotic dancer.

    The micro-celeb

Whether it’s Instagram influencers or ex-beauty Queens, there’s always someone with a considerable level of social media before entering the house. We once had Tacha; last year we had Liquorose and this year it’s Hermes. I mean, if you’ve been in Davido and Burna Boy’s videos, you’re celeb material.

    Married man

Is this a good idea for married people to be part of this reality show? Maybe not, but they add extra plot thickening.

    The trouble maker

What’s a reality show without vawulence? Nigerians hate peace, so they’re always on the lookout for the most likely to throw hands. And there’s always that housemate that delivers. Even though their fellow housemates might hate them and they may be tagged controversial, they have a lot of supporters on the bird app.

    Games master

With the amount of truth or dares they play in the house, it only makes sense for someone to volunteer as the self-acclaimed games master. They put so much energy and passion into coordinating games, we wonder where that energy is during the Head of House games.

  • 9 Funny and Sweet Moments You Missed At The Last BBNaija Saturday Night Party

9 Funny and Sweet Moments You Missed At The Last BBNaija Saturday Night Party

The last BBNaija Saturday Night Party was unforgettable. The evicted housemates returned to party with the finalists one last time, and they all gave us funny and sweet moments that we will remember for a long time.

    1. First of all, WhiteMoney took time to reflect.

He was probably thinking about all the cooking he would miss once he leaves the show. If only he knew he was going to secure the bag in a major way.

    2. Liquorose was determined to give us a final show.

We stan a spirited queen who cares about the audience. She dropped her cup of Smirnoff and said, “You people will not forget my name.” Yes, queen!

    3. Emmanuel and Angel took charge of the dance floor.

Angel ruled the dance floor and danced without a care. It was as if she was determined that the final party of the show must not end anyhow, and we love her for it.

    4. Emmanuel released himself from Liquorose and really gave us a show.

Mans said, “If this is my last party in this house, I better give you dance moves that will keep you all talking.” He created a world of his own and invited the audience to be a part of it. Whew.

    5. Maria, Arin, Boma, Yousef and Niyi: It’s the reunion before THE Reunion

When the reunion happens next year, there’ll probably be fights and tea to spill, but now, the housemates are reunited and they are all sipping their Smirnoff and enjoying the vibe.

    6. Even Niyi was rocking Maria.

Wonders shall never end. Niyi that was a saint in the house. What a wawu. This is the level of carefree enjoyment

    7. Look at KayVee!

KayVee, Nini, Saskay and Niyi all look like cute siblings. Can’t wait for them to be cast in a TV show. Are you concerned about seeing Nini alone without Saga? Don’t worry, he’s in the next picture.

    8. Saga, Tega, Jackie B, Princess, and Saskay.

See how they are all in a world of their own.

    9. In all of this, JMK was more concerned about staying pretty and sipping her drink.

A babe, through and through. And look how she brought other ladies to share the Smirnoff with her. A queen who knows how to create her own fun world and invite others into it.

  • 6 Relationship Lessons We’ve Learnt From BBNaija Shine Ya Eye

6 Relationship Lessons We’ve Learnt From BBNaija Shine Ya Eye

This year we saw a lot of BBNaija relationships, situationships, and interesting friendships in the house. Of course, when you put that many people in an enclosed space for a long time they are bound to form connections with each other. The housemates formed these connections with each other; some were entertaining, some were healthy and others were just stressful for both the viewers and the housemates involved.

    Here’s a list of 6 lessons we learned from this year’s BBNaija relationships;

    1. Choose the people that choose you: Angel and Cross

Angel and Cross understood the ride or die assignment and we loved to see it. We saw Cross genuinely making efforts to understand and be there for Angel no matter how complex her personality was. They had their friendship on lockdown and it just proves that when the vibe matches everything else just sails smoothly.

    2. Your network is your networth; Emmanuel and Liquorose

Despite not having a large fan base himself Emmanuel managed to survive all his eviction nominations and made it to the finals. The moral lesson is clear; if you want to go far in life, attach yourself to someone who is already ahead. Let them help your destiny.

    3. Come correct on what you want: Jackie B and Micheal

    zikoko - BBNaija relationships

This ship was the most tedious ship this year, they kept going back and forth and stressing everyone else involved because they couldn’t have an adult conversation on defining what they have. Between Jackie B’s “it’s not that deep/you’re disrespecting me” and Micheal’s “stap playin wid mi” it was just a lot of stress for viewers and any other female housemate who dared come close to Micheal.

    4. Make sure you are your spec’s spec: Whitemoney and Jackie B

    zikoko - BBNaija relationships

Whitemoney put Queen through a lot of stress because he was trying to prove his feelings for Jackie B. And all along Jackie B had already “Father zoned” him because she said she gets “daddy vibes” from him. Moral lesson; research about your spec’s spec before you start picking out baby names.

    5. People can be angry with you and still show up for you: Saga and Pere

    zikoko - BBNaija relationships

Pere was visibly hurt when Biggie played the clip of Saga badmouthing him to Nini. But when Saga was distraught over Nini’s disappearance, it was Pere who stood by him, kept consoling him, and even sat with him outside the rain. If people genuinely care for you, they will come through for you when you need them to. It doesn’t even matter how angry they are with you.

    6. Go after what you want: Saskay and Jaypaul

Jaypaul saw what he liked and he went after it. He did not let the fact that what he liked had a whole relationship outside the house or that another housemate was passionately in the race too. He simply went after what he wanted and as a reward won himself a passionate kiss before he got evicted (insert a round of applause here).

Which other lesson did you learn from this year’s BBNaija relationships? Tell us in the comments.

  • 5 BBNaija Shine Ya Eye Housemates That Got Evicted Too Early

5 BBNaija Shine Ya Eye Housemates That Got Evicted Too Early

As the show grinds to an end, we couldn’t help but reminisce on some of the housemates we met earlier in the show. Perhaps if they were still in the house we may have gotten a little more spice.

Here’s a list of 5 evicted housemates that definitely left the show too early.

    1. Arin

For the first time on the show, we got to see a feminist who proudly wore the tag and went on a crusade to re-orientate as many other housemates as possible on Feminism. Arin didn’t stay too long in the house but before she left she built beautiful connections with other housemates like Angel, Nini, and Cross. She also established herself as an unshakeable girl’s girl and the resident therapist. Her no-nonsense approach to patriarchy and misogyny was definitely a vibe the show needed.

    2. Beatrice

Beatrice may have been slow in unveiling her personality but the sneak peek she gave us before she got evicted shows that we would have been in for some multi-dimensional drama. Remember the kiss she had with Pere and how worked up it got Maria? Let’s also not forget the fight she had with Liquorose. Beatrice had spice to give, the viewers were just not patient enough.

    3. JMK

    zikoko- evicted housemates

If JMK was still in the house 2 plot twists are for sure; she would have given Queen and Jackie B a proper run for Whitemoney’s attention. Whitemoney would have probably leaped into a ship with her because if we remember correctly (and we do) he was quite persuasive in the friends with benefit discussion he had with her. But you people got her evicted with your pauper votes and now Mazi has missed out on the possible love of his life. We would have seen the coolest sismance between her and Angel.

    4. Maria

    zikoko - evicted housemates

Maria may have gotten on our collective nerves but there’s no denying that she brought a fire to the show that was visibly absent after she left. Her love/hate thing with Pere was an entire storyline on its own. She got Pere so deep in his feelings that after she left, the general made it a point to talk about her at least 9 times every day. And we got less drama, fewer fights, and more kumbaya sessions. But we don’t watch BBNaija for love and light, do we?

    5. Honourable mention; Yerins

Imagine Yerins and Pere in a fight. All that comes up are scenes where Yerins uses his polymath brain to hypnotize Pere’s military brain and Whitemoney comes to settle the issue and gets hypnotized too. Mad stuff! But now we’ll never know because the resident polymath got evicted too soon.

Which other of the evicted housemates do you think would have brought more spice to the show? Tell us in the comments.

  • 5 BBNaija Ships That Sailed And Crashed This Season (6)

5 BBNaija Ships That Sailed And Crashed This Season (6)

This 2021 BBNaija season, we’ve seen a lot of ships sail and sink in the 8 weeks the show has run for. Some of them seemed like wrong matches from the get-go and we were just waiting for the crash. But others actually held promise so it was sad to see them fail.

Here’s a list of 5 BBNaija ships that sailed and crashed this year.

    1. Angel and Sammie

This ship gave a lot of viewers anxiety because they were a terrible match from the start. It was like “Layrica” reincarnated. Angel said time and time again that she liked Sammie as a person but they didn’t connect mentally enough for a relationship. Sammie on the other side wanted her to tone down her personality and be less “flirty” with other male housemates. What eventually broke this camel’s back was the fact that Sammie kept trash talking Angel to other housemates. As predicted, everything came crashing down in a heated shouting match between the two.

    2. Maria and Pere

This seemed like a recipe for a volcanic eruption from the very start. Funnily enough, of all the housemates they both seemed like the only ones capable of handling each other. And who better to match an overly cocky Pere if not an equally headstrong Maria? However because “cocky and, “headstrong” is not a sustainable match, this romance could not survive the few weeks Maria spent in the house. Rumour has it that the first thing Maria did after she left the house was to block Pere on all platforms. We can’t say we are surprised.

    3. Boma and Queen

Queen and Boma seemed like a good match at first, she’s hot and he’s tall. But with time Boma started showing the other housemates and viewers his true colours and those colours were not really pretty. Between him constantly chanting his “Okro nation” slogan and his entanglement with Tega, what he had with Queen quickly went to dust.

    4. Crosskay – (Cross and Saskay)

    zikoko - BBNaija ships
    T

People liked the idea of a Cross and Saskay match because the narrative of a bad boy being “tamed” by the good girl sounds cute and grand on paper. But it doesn’t always work well in reality and in this case, it did not. Confronted with the options of Cross a bad guy, or Jaypaul, Saskay made her choice and that choice was not Cross.

    5. Honourable mention: Whitemoney and JMK

    zikoko - BBNaija ships

Our honourable mention is Whitemoney and JMK. For a moment there Whitemoney and JMK were discussing the possibility of a “Friends with Benefits” type of arrangement. But because housemates propose and viewers dispose, we didn’t get to see what became of that conversation. JMK got evicted that week.

  • TECNOxBBNaija: Team Xcellent Wins The Day

TECNOxBBNaija: Team Xcellent Wins The Day

It was yet another Thursday games night on the BBNaija Season 6 show with TECNO and it was a very creative one. As you know, TECNO has been on the Season 6 journey with the housemates since it began and they have not disappointed. With the TECNO Phantom X dolling out incredible pictures of the housemates, who wouldn’t want them to be part of something huge.

As always, the Head of House read the instructions of the task to the housemates and they were excited by what they heard. The task was very unique to the brand as the star of the show was the TECNO Phantom X. The housemates were to create a colorful, exciting and engaging product story with the Phantom X as the main focus.

To achieve the day’s task, the housemates were divided into 4 groups beginning with the Unique Letter X. They were grouped into:

Team Xcellent: Emmanuel, Jackie B, Jaypaul.

    Team Xceptional: Angel, Saskay, Nini.

Team Xclusive: Queen, Whitemoney, Liquorose, Yousef.

The task was in two-folds, photos and videos. The Phantom X smartphone was used as props during the shoot and also as the main tool, with the housemates adding a bit of flavor to the mix.

Dressed in their assigned costumes the housemates were tasked to create an exciting product story that reflected the themes of their costumes, while spotlighting the features of the device. It was really beautiful to see the contestants tap into their inner creativity and create beautiful videos with the TECNO Phantom X.

After much deliberation, Team Xcellent claimed the victory, as the best team to create colorful and engaging videos with the TECNO Phantom X. And their reward was a cool whopping sum of 1.5million Naira to be shared among the winners. With all the work they put in, they deserved to be rewarded.

Once done with the videos, the teams settled in to edit their video footages and images into one major product video per team, after which they had to wait painstakingly as their fates were decided.

But the excitement was not done with yet. TECNO had another surprise up their sleeves for their online audience. Fans were asked to vote for the housemate deserving of the title of ‘TECNO Phantom Star’. At the end of the voting period, the housemates with the highest votes, Whitemoney and Liquorose, were rewarded with the sum of 200,000 Naira each. It was truly a night of rewards for creative talents.

It was an all-out fun time with the task and we can’t wait to see what Big Brother will throw at us on subsequent task days

  • The 4 Major Stages of Watching The BBNaija Show

The 4 Major Stages of Watching The BBNaija Show

Watching the BBNaija show comes with different stages. You may not notice it, but somehow you go through a complete metamorphosis from the first week you watch the show to the last week when the winner is finally announced. The viewer you were at the beginning of the show is dramatically different from the viewer you become at the end of the show.

This article will take you through how BBNaija Show fans graduate from viewers to sugar mummy/daddies.

    1. The objective critique stage

At this stage where the show just started and no one has gotten emotionally attached yet. Everyone just gets on their high horse and starts publishing hot takes on how the housemates are boring and the production is wack and every one part of the eviction process should be fired because they did a horrible job.

    2. The “interested, but not interested” stage

This is the stage where people start getting attached to housemates. They’ll start posting about housemates they like and subtly defending their favs on social media. At this stage they may reject the fan base name but, best believe in one week, they will add that same name to their handle.

    3. The “stan” stage

    zikoko - BBNaija show

This is the stage where people are now seen on social media “stanning” their favs every day. The stage where they carry their fav’s matter on their head and cuss out anyone that dares to slander this fav. This is also the stage where they start proudly joining Whatsapp groups to vote and campaign for their favs. And of course, they use their fav’s picture as their DP.

    4. The sugar mummy/daddy

    zikoko - BBNaija show

This stage kicks off when the show ends. This is the stage where fans start funding their favs. They crowdfund to give their favs extravagant cash gifts and may even go as far as buying properties for their favs that they themselves do not own yet. At this stage, the average BBN viewer has successfully gone from an objective viewer to an emotionally invested sugar daddy/mummy.

7 BBNaija Housemates With The Wildest Dance Steps At The Last BBNaija Saturday Night Party

Every Saturday Night Party in the Big Brother House keeps getting more interesting. It’s almost as if the housemates reveal a new layer of themselves every Saturday. When we talk about dance steps in the house, most people would likely think of Liquorose, WhiteMoney, or Angel. But at the last Saturday Night Party, these housemates told us to hold their bottle of Johnnie Walker as they put on their retro outfits and showed us their mindblowing steppings.

Yes, Johnnie Walker had an outside party with a lot of fun, but the housemates dictated the vibes in this year’s Johnnie Walker jam. They put their backs in it and gave us fun content.

See some of our fave dancers:

    1. WhiteMoney

Just look at the positioning of the feet.

    2. Angel.

When Angel stands alone like this, you know she’s about to bring fire dance steps!

    3. Cross and Saskay

Who is touching the hem of their garments? NOBODY. These two dey dance shege.

    4. Queen.

She came to show us that she is not called “Queen” for nothing.

    5. Peace.

Yes, her name might be “Peace”, but she is far from making the dance floor peaceful. She has grabbed her cup of Johnnie Walker and is ready to dance up a storm.

    6. Tega

After Tega, there is still Tega. We have to thank Johnnie Walker for making the last Saturday Night Party lit!

    7. Honourable mention: Liqourose.

The OG of legwork and the queen of vibes.

    8. Super honourable mention: Johnnie Walker!

We have to give honour to whom it is due.

  • 9 Things We Want To See At Every BBNaija Saturday Night Party

9 Things We Want To See At Every BBNaija Saturday Night Party

BBNaija Saturday Night Parties often come and go, with many of the housemates bringing their best to the dance floor and stunning us in their beautiful outfits. But beyond all these things, there are a number of things we would love to see at every Saturday Night Party. Here’s a list of some of them:

    1. We want to see Saskay looking so peng.

No, just look at the material! Guinness probably had Saskay in mind when they came up with the words, “Black Shines Brightest.”

    2. We want Queen to stop hiding her dance steps and serve us content.

Who knew Queen had it in her? Sis, we want to see more of this!

    3. We want to see WhiteMoney chopping his life and flexing.

Our chef. He has cooked and cooked. Let him chill with a bottle of Guinness, please. He deserves it.

    4. We want the housemates to bond and give us combined content.

Boma and Tega, serve us what we have been waiting for, biko. We want some content from you both!

    5. We want Emmanuel to leave Liquorose alone.

Leave her alone so she can give us legwork. And if he won’t, he should at least release her hands so she can get a bottle of Guinness.

    6. We want Saga to leave Nini alone, please.

He can offer her Guinness because Guinness is the drink of superstars, but asides that, he should leave her side and go stand on his own feet.

    7. We want more of the friendship and bond.

See how kings are bonding over a bottle of Guinness. Look at how Guinness is bringing stars together.

    8. Just look at the pure joy on JayPaul’s face.

This joy can only be brought on by one thing: Guinness!

    9. We want memorable dances, please.

This is the correct definition of “When the gbedu enter body.”

  • 11 Of Our Favourite Tweets About This Week’s Events On BBNaija

11 Of Our Favourite Tweets About This Week’s Events On BBNaija

A lot has happened in this season of BBNaija. We all thought the show was going to be boring in comparison to past seasons, but the housemates have amped up the drama and keep bringing entertainment to our screens. Here are some of our favourite tweets chronicling this week’s events on BBNaija.

    1. Big Brother clearing Maria and defending Angel.

Please inject this in my veins!. The ”boys will always be boys” statement Maria made in an attempt to slut-shame Angel was quickly dismissed when Biggie came to Angel’s defence. We live for more moments like this on the show.

    2. Saskay vs Sleeping Beauty.

In a battle between Saskay and Sleeping Beauty, we are very sure Saskay will win. Aurora has nothing on Saskay. Homegirl dey sleep die.

    3. Micheal defending Angel.

If you pay close attention to the show, you’d have noticed the intense slut-shaming Angel has received from both male and female housemates. Anyway, Angel Micheal came to her defence this week too.

    https://twitter.com/_coco254/status/1428077937518075910?s=20

    4. White Money enjoying himself and entertaining the viewers as usual.

Pere, you’ve heard the man. You have only 24hrs to respond.

    5. Pere’s poor attempt at intimidating White Money.

The blowout on Monday was a poor attempt at intimidating White Money. Pere needs to explain what he has against everyone’s favourite net-singlet-loving Igbo man.

    6. Cross and Emmanuel trying to figure out Pere’s behaviour.

Pere’s behaviour was totally silly and uncalled for, so Cross calling him demonic was good content for the viewers. It was refreshing seeing men stand up against the silly behaviour of other men.

    7. The Atlantic ocean is not big enough for all the ships in this house.

So many ships with no directions. We wonder which one will be the first to go the way of the Titanic.

    8. LOOOOL. Not Big Brother broke-shaming JMK.

JMK has not brought in as much content as she promised us, but this was a moment worth documenting. We love Big Brother for his witty comebacks this season.

    9. Saga doing something else other than suffocating Nini with love.

It’s nice seeing Saga having a good time with other housemates. Nini sef needs to rest.

    https://twitter.com/LookingForMide/status/1428315071017635844?s=20

    10. Not Paleficient please (Internal scream).

Pere and Maria are not exactly good vibes, but this is the funniest one so far.

    11. Jackie and Maria. (Ofcourse, Maria is gossiping)

Jackie has not really shown us a lot of content. Her body is mad sha and she is a serious gossip.

    https://twitter.com/celestial_beau/status/1427422605569667077?s=20

  • The Buzz Episode 3: Toke Makinwa Gives Us An Insight Into The Wackiest And Wildest BBNaija Moments Of The Week

The Buzz Episode 3: Toke Makinwa Gives Us An Insight Into The Wackiest And Wildest BBNaija Moments Of The Week

In the latest episode of Showmax’s The Buzz, host Toke Makinwa brought her signature baby girl vibe while serving all the juicy scoop from Biggie’s house over the weekend – From the fights to the wildest moments to the Saturday night party and the love triangles.

Toke’s first guest on the episode was Femi Daniel, a TV presenter and Content Creator. He joined her to unpack all that went down over the weekend, from the frenzy of Friday jacuzzi night to the Saturday night party. According to Femi, the moment he saw Gordons, he remembered the last season’s party, and as expected, the housemates started acting differently after the party.

    The situationships in the house…

Femi gave us more insights into the situationships in the house. According to him, Cross likes Maria, and she wants him too.  But there is a “bro code” between him and Pere, so he won’t pursue her. For Liquorose, Toke and Femi agreed that once she takes alcohol, her emotions are always heightened. Still, they believe she’s coming on too strong and trying to force Emmanuel into a relationship.

To unpack the erotic confessions and some aggressive seductions in the house, Toke and Femi were joined by Content Creator extraordinaire, Tosin Ajibade of Olorisupergal. Toke began by saying that there are no official couples this season, which is sad, seeing that they are already three weeks into the game. According to Tosin, Maria and Pere like each other but do not want people to know they like each other. The group also spoke about Maria and Pere taking a shower together, and Maria later saying she did that because they are just best friends.

    And even more ships…

Toke and the group also had an interesting conversation about how Jay Paul and Arin are building something but aren’t quite there yet. They also dissected Jackie B and Boma’s situationship, talking about Jackie B giving Boma a forehead kiss which in their opinion meant she adored him. They also spoke about how Boma initially had a thing for Angel until she told her story to the house. They concluded that they both have strong personalities and called them the Mummy and Daddy of the house.

    Gbas Gbos…

To give us the breakdown of all the tempers rising in the house and all the emotions flying in the air, They were joined by the Senator, Comedian and Actor Bethel Njoku. To start, they spoke about the Angel, Liquourose and Maria situation. Senator said it was just girls being girls. He went further to describe Liquorose as a private jet that talks without really weighing the consequences.

Speaking about the heated argument between Boma and Angel, they all agreed that Boma went too far. According to Femi, if Jackie B saw that fight, she wouldn’t have given him the forehead kiss.

    Secret diary session

We also saw clips of the housemate’s secret diary sessions, where Big Brother allowed the housemates to rant about any and everything, and some of the juiciest details were revealed here. Arin revealed that she kissed Cross and went on to sleep in Jay Paul’s bed. Cross said that he’s starting to like SasKay a lot, and Saga also opened up about his crazy emotions for Nini. Peace says no one has swept her off her feet yet, and Pere complained about using the same bathroom as everybody.

To close the show, Toke and the guests spoke about the evictions. They weren’t surprised about Yerins, but they were shocked about Beatrice and surprised that Yousef scaled through. According to them, Yousef played a better game than Beatrice. They also love the new housemates and can’t wait for all the drama that will come from them.

The Buzz is the home of all the spicy gist that goes on in the BBNaija house. A brand new episode will premiere on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 7 pm. Toke will reveal more from the secret diary sessions, have superstar guests and discuss the most significant moments from this week’s show.

The Buzz is exclusive to Showmax and airs on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Download the Showmax app on your iOS or Android device to stay updated on the drama from the BBNaija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition if you’re in the UK or anywhere across Africa.

There is no way you can doubt that the combination of the housemates’ dazzling looks and the top camera quality of the device gave fans what we can all conclude to be premium content.

TECNO has over the years been giving Nigerians an exciting mobile experience and this cannot be doubted at any point. Just barely a few weeks after the brand launched the premium smartphone, the Phantom X, the brand is sticking to its promise to “Stop At Nothing” to create memorable moments for its audience.
