There’s so much new music being released that it’s hard for even the most loyal fans to wade through the trash to find the gems. That’s why we’ve created #BumpThis – a Friday series that features new songs, by and featuring Nigerians, that you absolutely need to hear.

T-Classic — “Where You Dey” ft. Peruzzi & Mayorkun

Last year, T-Classic landed his breakout hit, “Nobody Fine Pass You“, announcing himself as a rising star to watch. Now, he’s released his debut EP, Underrated, further affirming his solid grasp of afropop.

While all 5 songs on the EP are impressive, a clear standout is “Where You Dey”, which features Peruzzi and Mayorkun. On the love song, all three stars sing about fighting to keep the perfect woman.

T-Classic is great on the song, holding his own beside two talented and more experienced stars. At the end of the day, however, Peruzzi emerges as the song’s MVP, delivering the strongest and most memorable verse.

OUR MISSION

Zikoko amplifies African youth culture by curating and creating smart and joyful content for young Africans and the world.
