If you’re a fan of P-Square, you’d have noticed that there’s been trouble in the business for some time.
No one knew exactly what was wrong, but some of us wondered if the music duo, were breaking up.
In two months, Mr and Mrs John who have been affected by war will mark the one year anniversary of their marriage.
War transcends the blood pumping action and excitement portrayed in movies. Rape, mass genocide and destruction are only a few of the things accompanied by war.
The ones who manage to survive war, never remain the same afterwards.
The deadly Boko Haram insurgency in 6 years has been responsible for the death of over 20,000 Nigerians and displacement of another 2.3 million people.
Not to mention the kidnapping of over 200 school girls, sexual abuse of women and children and the 1 million pupils currently out of school.
And even in the midst of so much strife and pain, this Nigerian couple managed to find and eventually seal their love.
The couple who had previously been engaged before getting separated by the war, reunited at the Cameroonian camp.
Hauna had fled to Cameroon while Ibrahim who was keen on his education stayed back to complete his final exams.
Their reunion was emotional and in Ibrahim’s words…
“It wasn’t easy for me to be separated from the one I love. But I had to be strong to pull myself together because I knew the separation was because of the Boko Haram attacks. So I had no option. The very first day we met in the camp, I could not resist her. I had to hold her to my cheek. Really it was a great moment that day. Heaven was very close to me that day
Hauna’s unhappiness and worries were put to rest when they reunited.
The married couple have plans to start their own family even without any steady means of income and challenges that await them while living in the refugee camp.
This goes to show that hope and love can still shine through during times of strife. However, there are thousands of other people who may never see their loved ones again. We hope the Boko Haram insurgency is completely eradicated soonest.
In Europe, Italy to be precise, they are commonly seen as the ones who peddle trinkets and bags on the corner, but never in designer suits.
Wale oyejide, the creative director and brains behind Philadephia-based African fashion brand, Ikire Jones, is also an Afrobeats musician, writer and attorney.
Being an immigrant himself, the Nigerian-born designer began his journey into the fashion industry as part of a personal creative evolution.
Without any formal education in fashion, his designs are sometimes inspired by Kanye Wests’ lyrics and the latest collection from Ikire Jones is themed ‘After Immigration’.
The West African models and asylum seekers, Abdoulay, Gitteh and Madi were scouted from a local settlement organization that houses asylum seekers.
The collection seeks to portray African Immigrants as real and employable people with stories like every other human.
In contrast to popular African-themed fashion editorials where the models are impoverished and posing in a sad background, these models were dressed up in really cool suits in the streets of Florence, Italy to portray their elegant side.
‘After Immigration’ also aims to tackle the lack of diversity and black models in high end fashion by proving that men like Abdoulay and his friends can be found in many parts of the world.
The models were also featured when the collection was displayed in Italy’s Pitti Uomo Fashion show.
This editorial shoot shows the many holes in not only the fashion world but also immigration policies.

Well Steve Harvey has done it again. He gave two beautiful ladies, Keh and Tai, the opportunity to find love by getting them to go on a date with two guys.
But things didn’t click for them, because it wasn’t what the twins were expecting.
The ladies, whose real names are Kehinde and Taiwo, who consider looks an important criterium in whom they date didn’t take the guys seriously.
But it was their loss because, it turned out that both guys were actually hot and had really successful careers to boot, with one being a pro-footballer turned top real estate professional and the other a principal consultant at a tech company.
The men met the physical requirements of the twins, but their looks were simply altered to make them look geeky.
Watch the outtakes below. It’s even more ridiculous!
Environmental pollution is real, haven’t you heard?
Africans and Nigerians are finding diverse, new and interesting ways to recycle materials and save the planet.
This is Eluagu William, a graduate of Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.
He created this magnificient structure for his final year project while still at the college.
What is even more impressive is that this structure is completely made from discarded table water, 7UP, Sprite and Mountain Dew plastic bottles.
The project is titled “Your Destiny Is In Your Hand”.
Eluagu is also an sculptor…
And a painter.
What a talented young man! More power to his elbow!
What do you do when everything you know and are used to is ripped away from you? Will you be able to adjust and keep up or just give up?
At least, you’re given the opportunity to answer these questions. Efena Otobo didn’t have that luxury.
Efe was a young, active woman with a bright future in front of her, until a single catastrophic event changed the course of her life.
On the 21st day of April 2014, one single catastrophic event completely altered her life.
A reckless driver caused a horrible car accident that led to the damage of her spinal cord. She could not feel anything from the waist down, and there was very little chance that she will ever walk again.
Efe had to relearn everything she previously knew; she couldn’t do things that before came easy for her. She had to learn to balance at the edge of the bed, to roll over and to dress herself.
Physiotherapy was hard, but she pushed on.
She spent hours in hospital gyms and rehab facilities, with physical therapists, to build up her upper body strength, learn how to execute perfect transfers from the wheelchair to any surface and prevent her leg muscles from dying.
She’s been getting excellent medical care, but the hospital bill continues to pile up.
At a point in life, people tend to aspire to greater things and leave positive marks in the sands of time. In doing this, they will never be forgotten in history.
42 year old Omotayo Okunsanya has become the first Nigerian man to complete a marathon race across Antarctica.
Inspired by some Nigerian women like Tee Morgan, who had earlier accomplished the feat and set the record, Omotayo endured running under very erratic temperature conditions , mud gravel and sleet in Antarctica.
At 40, he had risen through the ranks, obtained an MBA degree from Harvard, became a certified Financial Analyst and also a Managing Director at Jefferies, an American investment bank.
Taking a step back, he decided to give back to society and running for charity was the medium he chose to achieve his dream.
He has raised over $20,000 from the 10 marathons he has run. Some of the charity organizations include Red Cross, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Shoes 4 Africa and the VICTA.
Raising awareness for children in need is the main focus of his charity runs.
He aspires to run across all seven continents of the world and his next stop is Kilimanjaro.
This is an inspiration to become the best one can in life and also consider the ones that are not as opportuned as we may be.
Those found guilty of various crimes have been imprisoned and relegated to the back of our minds. They’ve been locked up and the keys thrown away. Most of us decide that they don’t deserve second chances.
Such is the case of Zomba Prison, a maximum-security facility in Malawi.
The prison which was built during the British era, to hold 330 people, has two thousand or more at any given time.
It was to this same prison that Grammy winner and author Ian Brennan and his wife Marilena Delli, along with Kyp Malone and Tunde Adebimpe were granted access.
They gave the inmates an opportunity to record their music. It was the resulting album “I Have No Everything Here“ that’s been given a Grammy nomination.
The album has been nominated in the “Best World Music Album” category. A first for a record out of Malawi.
This band recorded an album inside a maximum-security jail. Now, they're up for a Grammy.https://t.co/xhpweMq11Y
These prisoners still face other problems, apart from overcrowding.
Due to the prevalence of HIV and AIDS in the prison, the residents see imprisonment as a life sentence, because those that are disease free when they come to the prison more often than not end up with the disease.
The female residents also face the difficult decision of having one child under five years of age live in the prison with them, which means they have to choose between their offspring.
With constant food shortages and overcrowding, prison conditions are particularly rough on the children. The topic is addressed in one of the more gripping songs on the album: “Please don’t kill my child” above.
A lot of the prisoners have been unjustly jailed for situations where they are not the perpetrators, but the victims. Some are serving out life sentences they received as children.
Ian Brennan put the album’s proceeds towards legal representation for some of the prisoners. Since the making of the album, three of the female prisoners on the album have been released.
We definitely hope that Zomba Prison Project wins the award!

This is the controversial Joro Olumofin. He tried to make a joke using himself as the scapegoat but unfortunately, it backfired.
She’s dreamed of being the Globeleza carnival queen since was six-years-old. Globeleza is a carnival organised by the biggest TV station in the country. So, Justino jumped at the chance to apply when it was time to pick a new queen.
The actress and dancer wowed the judges with her beautiful personality and Samba skills, taking home the coveted title.
But things quickly turned sour for her.
Justino received backlash from fellow Brazilians who deemed her too dark and therefore didn’t deserve the title. She was called everything from a monkey to a darkie. Even worse, many Black Brazilians also thought the same thing.
Then one day, without notice, she received a call…
You’re not going to be Globeleza anymore. Thanks for your participation.
Then, Globo announced Erika Moura, as the new queen without even taking a public vote.
The Brazilian carnival queen deemed ‘too black’Nayara Justino thought her dreams had come true when she was selected as the Globeleza carnival queen in 2013. But some in Brazil regarded her complexion to be too dark to be an acceptable queen

In something that might be the script for a well-done Hollywood movie, a plane crash happened and no one died!
A helicopter, with 13 passengers on board, en route Lagos from Port Harcourt landed in the Atlantic ocean.
It didn’t land in the large body of water by accident. It was a deliberate decision to make the controlled emergency landing by Nigeria’s first female helicopter Captain, Abimbola Jaiyeola.
A friend of the pilot shared this in a Facebook post:
An automatic gele known as “Auto gele” is now available in Nigeria.
Created in 2014 by Ande Oluwatoyosi and Fasasi Folusho, two graduates of Covenant University, auto gele is the newest and easiest way to tie a nice Owambe gele.
If there’s ever a politician that inspires Nigerians, it is Ben Murray-Bruce. He not only uses his television station (Silverbird) to talk to us, he does that with his Twitter handle as well.
In a series of tweets, he gave us a pep talk to inspire us to believe in ourselves and continue to do better, especially in light of what our president said in an interview with the Western media.

Sandra and Chudy Nsobundu risk spending 60 years in an American prison and paying $1 million fine if found guilty.
The couple were arrested after their 38 year old nanny filed a forced labour complaint against them.
Apparently, the unnamed nanny joined the family in Katy, Texas all the way from Lagos in 2013 after Mrs Sandra Nsobundu contacted her in 2012.
She signed a contract as part of the requirements for the $100 a month job she had accepted. Her travel documents although fraudulent, were funded by the Nsobundus.
Her hopes were dashed as she was met with maltreatment especially from 50 year old Sandra Nsobundu.
The victim reported in the complaint to have been beaten with slippers and dragged by her hair because she wore ill fitting socks for the youngest child around the Easter period of 2015.
Speaking with the U.S Immigrations and Customs department, she explained how she had to work daily without any form of rest between 5:30am and 1am.
Her meals were only leftovers and she still had to drain leftover milk from the children’s cereal bowls for tea.
Sandra Nsobundu also went as far as threatening to shoot their maid for not caring for her five children as expected.
The maid could only endure so much including sleeping on the floor because the couple felt she was too smelly for a bed. Her phones were seized and this made communication with her family in Nigeria.
To add salt to injury, she called her Nigerian bank and discovered the non-payment of her salary for the 2 years she had worked for the family.
The National Human Trafficking Resource Center was alerted of the woman’s condition in September, 2015 and she escaped a month after.
Assisted by a case manager from the YMCA International Trafficked Persons Assistance Program, she found refuge in a women’s shelter.
The Nsobundus were arrested on February 8 and are currently going through trial in court. You can read the entire complaint here.
Stories like this are not uncommon as Nigerian men and women have been lured overseas in the past with false promises of paid employment. Under fair circimstances, all labour should be paid for. Also, offering menial/domestic chores is not an excuse to maltreat others.
African women have different traditional hairstyles to celebrate different occasions.
Sadly, beauty and hairstyles will be the last thing on the minds of anybody fleeing their home countries due to crisis.
These Nigerian women were photographed in a variety of African hairstyles by award-winning Sicilian photographer, Salvatore Di Gregorio.
The women who reside in a female only refugee camp at Mirabella Imbaccari with 5000 other women fled their home countries for various reasons and are currently being processed by the Italian government.
The photoshoot themed “Tales of Beauty” was done with the aim of showcasing the wealth of African culture through beauty and different hairstyles.
More so, the photographer felt the need to portray the strength and beauty of these women who risked their lives for a chance at happiness and freedom.

In January 2016, Mattel, the manufacturers of the popular fashion doll, Barbie released the doll in new and diverse body sizes and colours.
Although the conventional Barbie doll remained a part of the debut, the other dolls were aimed to represent all the different forms of girls around the world.
As commendable and brilliant as this debut is, some demographic of girls still remain unrecognised.
This Nigerian lady after stumbling into the Barbiestyle page on Instagram got inspired to give the doll a new look.
Haneefah Adam is not only a medical scientist but also a Nigerian lifestyle blogger and modest fashion enthusiast.
Plans to make the doll available for sale are currently in the works as Muslim women around the world are excited to buy these dolls for their daughters.
In spite of the negative Islamophobic comments, Hijarbie stays slaying.
We all know our politicians love to fight and fight dirty, especially those in the House of Representatives.
This time, our politicians have decided to take their fight from the House to the streets of Twitter! And this round was between Senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Ben Murray Bruce and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
The drama started when Senator Bruce took to his Twitter handle, to condemn statements said to have been made by President Buhari (PMB) in an interview with the UK Telegraph. PMB warned Nigerians to stop trying to seek asylum in Britain, saying that our reputation for criminality has made it hard for them to be “accepted” abroad.
What a betrayed!!!
Bruce, vexed by the President’s statement, tweeted:
President @MBuhari, Nigerians are not criminals. Nigerians are honest hardworking people. #IAmANigerianNotACriminal. Retweet if you agree.
This was in reference to a statement made by PMB in one of the Nigerian newspapers in 2008, where he said that the late former military Head of State, Sani Abacha, did not loot the national treasury, contrary to the general opinion.
He continued:
Bernie Madoff stole $50 Billion, the largest theft in the world. That doesn't make all Americans thieves! Dont generalize because of a few!
Nigerian, check. Young and winning at life, check. Slaying everybody’s life, double check!
Yes! This Nigerian woman just set a record as the youngest person to bag a PhD in Law from the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, South Africa.
Bagging her LLB degree in International Law from Lagos State University, 26 year old Dr Romola Adeola has always been on top of her game.
She also earned the Taslim Olawale Elias Prize for the Best Student in International Law during her undergraduate years.
Her participation in the 2008 African Human Rights Moot Court Competition exposed her to the Centre for Human Rights.
After being awarded a DAAD scholarship for her LLM degree in 2012, she graduated with honors and two awards in the bag for the overall Best Dissertation and for the Best Performance in the module: Human Rights in Africa.
Completing her doctorate degree in just 3 years, she still took time to speak on behalf of the Centre on issues of internally displaced persons, migrants and refugees.
She is a proud holder of two other diploma degrees from Åbo Akademi University: One degree in Justiciability of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the other in International Protection of Human Rights.
She is a trailblazer and an example of how African women keep breaking records and smashing stereotypes in all works of life.
‘Tis a lesson you should heed:Try, try, try again. If at first you don’t succeed,Try, try, try again.-William Edward Hickson
This is probably Sibongile Sambo’s mantra.
Sibongile, for the longest time, wanted to be a flight attendant with South African Airways, but her dream wasn’t realised because she didn’t meet the minimum height requirement to become one.

Olajumoke Orisaguna, widely known as the bread seller who crashed TY Bello’s shoot for British-Nigerian rapper Tinie Tempah, graced the cover of ThisDay Style yesterday (February 7th)!
Stunning! We shared the story with you last week and Olajumoke’s grass to grace story has touched so many Nigerians around the country.
Olajumoke’s shoot included an image of her gently cradling her beautiful 14 month old daughter in her arms.
Jumoke originally from Osun state, is a married mother of two, a 5 year old and 14 month old daughter (pictured above). Looking to make more money for her family, Jumoke left her older child and husband in Osun state and moved to Lagos. Little did she know her life was about to change for the better!
Ty Bello in a series of Instagram posts, shared Olajumoke’s miraculous story:
“Olajumoke a bread hawker from the Sabo market bakery, walked entirely by coincidence unto our set of our Thisday style shoot for @tiniegram The moment didn’t look special at all. If anything she stood there a little confused .. Some people asking her to leave the set and others asking her to stay . I signaled if it was OK to take her photograph and she agreed and I pressed on my shutter so she could move ahead . My main subject of interest was the Okada driver that had slowed down just before she arrived. Okada riders have that cool Lagos vibe and always happen to add a bit of swag to street portraits.I was wrong to have paid her such little attention. Every frame with her in it was perfect .. I had found a second subject in the Tinnie’s story .. A young beautiful hawker who could have served as a love interest of some sort. Digitally I made the red in her dress match @tiniegram sleeves to create a connection between them..”“When the magazine came out last week and the images hit social media , I was proven right this girl split the limelight with the main subject effortlessly… questions and comments started to fly: Was she a model? How did we convince the model to balance all that bread on her head . The buzz about her multiplied when I clarified that she indeed wasn’t a model at all but simply stumbled on our set. I immediately begone my search for her. If so many felt she was beautiful enough to be a model.. Then maybe she was mean to be one. I was going to find a way to make it happen. I had assistants leave word with people in the area we shot her and to my delight the very next day, she showed up at my studio.
“Aso kan na ni mo wo kiri Lana…” Jumoke the ‘model’ the Internet had been searching for speaks almost no English”. But can read and write fluently in Yoruba.
“She explained how she had worn the exact outfit in our photograph the day before and someone showed her her own photograph on his phone from face book. A mallam led her to my studio that morning. She narrated her journey to Lagos… A hair stylist from Ire in Osun state but not making enough profit between she and her husband, a sliding door installer in from same village, to care for their two young children. At the invitation of a distant relative who knew someone operating a bakery, she relocated Lagos with her 14 month old daughter to give bread hawking a try, leaving her husband and older 5 year old behind .As I listened to her, I wandered if the beauty I had seen on my screen as I edited my image was a fluke… well, until she smiled… I realized that I was wrong… I had in fact underestimated the beauty of this 27 year old woman. As always, it was her eyes and of course her perfectly chiseled features that jumped out at you when she chuckled. This lady belonged in front of my camera. After a conversation with her husband telling him the story of our meeting, I decided I was going to photograph her that very afternoon… Within an hour, Bimpe Onakoya, one of Nigeria’s leading makeup artist and Zubby one of my favourite hairstylist were at my studio to work magic. They had both followed the story online and were more than happy to put in their very best for her…”“…‘Ka ma kiri Buredi ko suwon ‘ she explained that bread hawking wasn’t the most profitable business but put enough food on her table . It also put a roof over a head .. Howbeit a roof she shared with scores of other hawkers .She was a trained hairdresser back in Osun state but her family could not afford the necessarily ‘freedom ‘ ceremony ; a passing out ritual that gives a trainee a sometimes unwritten permission to start a full fledged salon .We all decided that the make over would be incomplete if it ended at the studio . Every one started to reach out to their contacts and through Bimpe we were able to get her a meeting with Ugo the pioneer of Make-me salon .As a result of the buzz she generated from the Thisday cover Our model is now close to starting an internship at @makemesalon and has been offered a additional internship with @sarisignature a famous Lebanese owned salon on the island island .To pay Jumoke her model fee from her first job in front of the camera we called @_ujumarshall one of Nigeria’s And matched her fees .She’s been offered a modelling contract with the help of @godsonukaegbu from a @fewmodels .She’s also had @payporte reach out to her to be model on their next billboard campaign .”
“Just this morning, a mentor of mine offered to foot the bill for her accommodation, education as well as her child’s .. This finally makes it possible to be finally reunited with her husband and older child.”
“..I’ve asked my self over and again why all of this is happening . One thing is clear .. This woman here is no charity case .. We met her in the middle of her hustle … The woman works hard.. Seven days a week .. With a family to support .. But with dignity ..who pays that much attention to how she looks as she’s about to hawk bread … ?Arranging the bread so delicately like it was worth much more .. Making sure she left the bakery while it was steamy and hot … Every body likes their bread hot . .. All of this even when it’s clear that her profit in a day is between N300-500 .This is the story of so many Nigerians .. The young house selling gala in traffic… The woman braiding hair under the bridge .. Nigerians work hard and we go it with style …This has taught us and I hope everyone reading to pay a little attention ., to those clearly working hard around us .. You may have your own wahala to deal with .. But nothing gives you a bigger break from your troubles than just making life easier for someone else .. Give an orange seller a N1000 note and she may be able to take the next day off to attend to herself and her children..”“Jumoke is sorted … I personally believe so with all the doors opening up for her but This story is more about the ‘jumokes’around you . Who put in all the work but just need a little push .You may not be able to help every one but as I learnt from someone I really respect … In your own unique way …. Do for the ONE what you would have liked to do for ALL.Jumoke ooo.. Wants to be a hairstylists but secretly nurses a fantasy to act in a Yoruba film one day .. I know she’ll be a nollywood hit .. She did great in front of my camera and understood how to work the tiniest emotional nuances .She may not speak much English but can read and write in Yoruba.” – TY Bello
Such a beautiful story to remind us all to be kind and supportive to every person we meet! Because just a little help can go a very long way and make a difference in someone’s life.
In what seems like something straight out of a Nollywood movie, a woman showed up at her own funeral!
Noela Rukundo, a Burundian residing in Melbourne, Australia for eleven years has been married to her husband, Balenga Kalala, for about a decade.
Rukundo’s ordeal began almost a year ago, when she flew from her home in Melbourne with her husband to attend the funeral of her stepmother in her native country. Despondent after the events of the day, she retreated to her hotel room in Bujumbura, the capital.
Then her husband called. He told her to go outside for fresh air. But the minute Rukundo stepped out of her hotel, she was held at gunpoint, blindfolded and kidnapped.
After being taken to a building in an undisclosed location, where there were more men, she was tied to a chair. It was there that she heard her husband’s voice via a phone call ordering the men to kill her.
But her kidnappers decided to eat their cake and have it. They knew her brother, so they decided not to kill her, but they kept the money her husband paid. The kidnappers left Rukundo by the side of the road after two days, with a cellphone, recordings of the kidnappers phone conversations with her husband and receipts for the $7,000 in Australian dollars they allegedly received in payment.
They wanted her to go share her experience with other gullible women like her.
The mother of eight not only did that, she also told the world.
She sought help from the Kenyan and Belgian embassies to return to Australia. Then she called the pastor of her church in Melbourne, and explained to him what had happened. Without alerting Kalala, the pastor helped her get back home to her neighborhood near Melbourne.
Meanwhile, her husband had told everyone she had died in a tragic accident and the entire community mourned her at her funeral at the family home.
On the night of Feb. 22, 2015, just as he waved goodbye to neighbours who had come to comfort him, Rukundo approached him, the very man who ordered her death like he was ordering pizza.
Kalala Though Kalala initially denied all involvement, Rukundo got him to confess to the crime during a phone conversation that was secretly recorded by police.
“Sometimes Devil can come into someone, to do something, but after they do it they start thinking, ‘Why I did that thing?’ later,” he said, as he begged her to forgive him.
Kalala eventually pleaded guilty to the scheme. He was sentenced to nine years in prison by a judge in Melbourne.

On account of the 2016 break out of Lassa fever, certain preventive measures have been passed across to Nigerians to help control the spread of the virus.
Not less than 63 Nigerian lives have been claimed by the virus since its recent breakout.
The Mastomy rat is said to be the sole carrier of the Lassa virus.
Because ingestion of food contaminated by these rats aids transmission of the Lassa virus disease, the Chairman of Rivers state branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Furo Green advised Nigerians against drinking garri.
And as always, Nigerians will find hilarity in every situation. This man shared his safe way to drink garri on his Facebook page.
I have discovered a way to drink Garri this Lassa season.
1. Put the garri in a dry frying pan/pot.
2. Place it on the fire and allow it to fry for 10mins so that the heat will kill the Lassa virus.
3. Pour the garri out on a wide tray & allow it to get cold. Make sure ur eyes are on the garri to avoid the virus coming back cos if it does hmmmm, e go worse pass the 1st tym oh.
4. Put the garri on a plate and add the necessary (sugar, salt, glucose, powder, honey, milk, Milo, groundnut, aki, water etc). This is strictly base on ur choice but if u want to add all, no problem.
Then ur delicious and tasty drinking garri is ready for consumption…
Thank me later…

Sadly, black teenagers are often only covered in the news when matters of crime and bad behaviour arise.
So when they rise to the occasion of helping the elderly, they should be commended.
An elderly British woman, Zenaida Cabrera slipped in ice and lost consciousness right outside a Tesco store, late January 2016.
Fortunately for her, these four teenagers who happened to be walking to their St. Bonaventure Catholic School, at the time, rushed to her rescue. They took to action, with two of them staying with her till the ambulance arrived, while the others went to report at their school.
The following week, she paid a visit to the school albeit still healing from the fall.
As a show of gratitude, she presented a cheque of 50 pounds to Kyron Onireti, Charles Hamadi, Tyrese Attefuah-Appau and Gabrielle Adegoke for coming to her rescue.
These boys are showing that black teenagers aren’t criminals and are capable of showing kindness to others.
We are proud of them and wish them well.
What do you think about their commendable act of kindness?
According to the Paediatric Society Of Ghana, 70% of the children diagnosed at their center are left to die by their parents due to the whooping sum of money needed for chemotherapy and other treatments.
Photos of this young Ghanaian boy went viral after he requested to see the interior of an airplane for the first time in his life.
Due to lack of funds and and consequently insufficient medical care, he was recently informed by doctors that he has a very limited time to live.
Upon learning his fate, he simply requested for something he had always wished for all his life.
His wish was granted by Delta airlines and he was driven in an ambulance to the airport accompanied by the nurses of the hospital.
After his story went viral, people on social media called out to willing donors to assist his cause.
Unfortunately, his parents have given up all hope and are refusing monetary donations from willing volunteers.
In a society where poverty and illiteracy thrives, many more children like this unnamed little boy have lost their lives to ailments that could have been managed under normal conditions. We hope steps are taken to help children like this boy in the future.
What do you think about this little boy’s heart breaking story?
Such a heart-warming story that will make you rethink how you treat the older people around you!
Lesson of the day: Teaching people new things should be done with patience and without judgement. Especially those who have never had to deal directly with technology when they were younger.

When limitations happen, some men and women strive to achieve feats that seem difficult or impossible.
On the first Monday of February 2016, a Nigerian doctor boarded a Keke Napep on her way to the hospital. In her words…
Thought i should share this, on my way to the hospital I flagged him down didn’t bother talking to him or asking him for the price because we all know they have a fixed price for those plying the straight road, to my amazement he turned and showed me the notice. Mehn i was dumb founded, i quickly read through it and relaxed. I got to my destination and tapped him and he stopped….
