Visual artist, creative director and filmmaker, Abba T. Makama, had his first solo art exhibition on February 28th, 2016 at the IAMISIGO showroom.
The art show is titled “Hypnagogia”.
The exhibition consisted of acrylic paintings on canvas, alongside a video representation of the work, inspired by waking hallucinations and sleep paralysis.
Hypnagogia is the imagery, sounds and strange bodily feelings that are felt at “sleep onset.”
Hypnagogic hallucinations, are vivid and frightening episodes of seeing or hearing or feeling phantom sensations while falling asleep.
In sleep paralysis a person who is either falling asleep or awakening, temporarily experiences the inability to move, speak or react.
According Abba Makama aka Dodorowski, “The purpose of the exhibition is to demystify the phenomenon. Hypnagogia is a benign and common experience.”
There’s a saying “spare the rod and spoil the child” and Africans really believe in it. But sometimes, the rod really should be spared. Like in this situation!
Kai! Just look at!
Okafor's dad claimed he's a disciplinarian and need to 'raise his child well.' School reported case to Police. pic.twitter.com/IFc5eJscG3
According to IG Wala, Chukwuma was dumped in school after his dad had dealt with him.
“Eight Years old Chukwuma Okafor is presently on admission at the Kubuwa General Hospital after a brutal beating by his own father. This child was taken to hospital by a Nun whom was said to have been contacted by his school teachers. Yesterday morning, his own father drove him to school in a bad shape and dumped him.“
He went on to say that this has happened repeatedly in the past.
“The school teachers confirmed that on several occasions, they made effort to intervene on the boy’s situation but the father proved stubborn and even threatened them. The scars on the boy’s head & back shows how long he has been maltreated by his own father.“
And that Chukwuma’s father justified his actions by saying he was a disciplinarian.
“THE FATHER IS JUSTIFYING HIS ACTIONS BY WAY OF CLAIMING TO BE A DISCIPLINARIAN AND HE SAID HIS ARREST BY THE POLICE IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE TYPE OF EMBARRASSMENTS THAT HIS CHILD KEEP BRINGING TO HIS FAMILY.“
Chukwuma’s father had no right to do this, no matter what the boy did! No right at all!! This is just too extreme!!!
The sad thing is that this issue is rampant, not just in Nigeria, but in Africa. Which is just sad!

What do you do when you dream of going on an exotic vacation but your bank account isn’t cooperating with you?
Instead of sitting and moping around, this Kenyan woman, Evelyn Kinya, took matters into her hand.
Or rather, her keyboard.
And photoshopped her way to China.
She’s really loving it and already typing in Chinese.
She took her shadow with her to the Great Wall of China.
When you photoshop yourself to where your bank account couldn’t take you.
Or when your exchange rate wouldn’t let you go.
Evelyn wanted to visit China,
Evelyn went to China by fire by force,
Evelyn doesn’t care about haters,
Be like Evelyn.

The fact that rape is absolutely unrelated to “indecent” dressing should not be up for debate in 2016.
Although rape leaves negative physical and psychological scars on its victims, many Nigerians find it difficult to simply condemn the act and move on without making irrelevant references to the victims appearance.
Obviously, more steps have to be taken in educating people on the consequences and logical causes of rape. Also victim blaming has to be unlearned because it defeats the purpose of actually combating the problems rape poses in the society.
We keep saying Nigerians are doing great things, because they really are. As much as we see a lot doing great things, there are even more that are doing possibly great things under the radar!
Like Dr. Osatohanmwen Osemwengie who makes drones for the United States Military!
For those wondering what drones are, they’re used by intelligence and national security services in detecting and taking out terrorist camps and fortresses. So imagine what that would do for Nigeria’s problem with Boko Haram!
Why didn’t we know about this man before now? Because he keeps a really low-profile that would make Beyonce envious.
But in this era of technology and something called “the internet” it’s incredibly hard to do, which is how he was found out.
Dr Osato isn’t just an engineer, he’s also a really successful academic.
He has a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instructions from the University of Cinccinati; four graduate degrees and is currently on working on having two more Master’s degree under his belt. One in software engineering at Regis University and the other in Information Systems at the Keller Graduate School of Management.
The Edo state born doctor is also the founder of Open Engineering University, a tuition-free engineering institution
It’s the first of its kind and where young engineering talents are groomed. Student in any university and professionals in science, technology, engineering and mathematics related fields can enroll in the university. The university is powered by Google+.
But we wonder what he could do for the Nigerian government if he was in the country.
It is possible that our security would be greatly improved. But it is also possible that he wouldn’t have gotten far. This country might have killed his talent!

So, The Sun London wrote an article about a female trio from the same family that are so young-looking that they’re able to wear each others clothes, though ranging in age from 16 to 65.
Admirable!
But that’s not why we’re here. The kicker is that these female trio say they get mistaken for sisters.
The Sun had shared the link via Twitter. But Twitter people did not take it. Just like they didn’t take it when another British publication tried to make us believe that these two were sisters and not mother and daughter.
But they all jumped on the bandwagon after the picture of this black family went viral, because nobody could tell who the mother was.
Comments ranged from…
The person who foretold the coming of the Apocalpyse.
After Kim Kardashian’s disappointing 2013 appearance at Darey’s first Like A Movie Concert, he stepped it up a notch by inviting Ciara for the third edition.
In these hard and difficult economic times, there are people that are thriving. Being a millionaire isn’t the in thing any longer. The value of the naira has depreciated too much for it to matter. You have to be a billionaire and in dollars for everyone to know that you have arrived.
Forbes has compiled a list of the richest Africans and as usual, there are Nigerians repping us!
These are the Nigerians on the list:
1. Aliko Dangote
Coming in first on the list is Aliko Dangote. Is anybody surprised? I mean seriously. I’m sure some of us are like “Can somebody please take over from this man?” But he’s a hustler and it’s paying off. He’s the founder of Dangote Cement, which is Africa’s largest cement-production company. He’s worth $14.4 billion.
2. Mike Adenuga
Second on the list is Mike Adenuga. He’s now worth $10 billion, which is $6 billion more than he was worth last year. This increase in his fortune is attributed to the increase in value of his telecom, oil and real estate holdings.
3. Femi Otedola
He’s number fourteen on the list. Otedola is the controlling shareholder of Forte Oil, an oil marketing and power generation company. He’s worth $1.85 billion.
4. Folorunsho Alakija
She’s the sixteenth on the list. She’s the vice chair of Famfa Oil, an oil exploration company that has a 60% participating interest in block OML 127, one of Nigeria’s largest deepwater discoveries. She’s the only female Nigerian billionaire and one of Africa’s richest female billionaires. She’s worth $1.55 billion.
5. Abdulsamad Rabiu
Coming in at number twenty-two is Abdulsamad Rabiu. He is the founder of BUA Group which includes: sugar refining, cement production, real estate, logistics and port operations. He’s worth $1.1 billion.

It is not uncommon to find successful Nigerians in the diaspora making efforts to give back to their home country and now Skepta has decided to be one of them.
Out of the spotlight, the British-Nigerian grime artist and MC is known as Joseph Junior Adenuga.
Born in Nigeria and relocating to the UK with his family at only 3 years old, Skepta launched his musical career together with his younger brother JME in 2005.
Skepta is one of the note-worthy names in the world of British grime and he is also a songwriter and record producer. He has also performed with top rappers Drake and Kanye West and was also on the remix of Wizkid’s Ojuelegba alongside Drake.
After spending so many years away from home, 34 year old Skepta decided to give back to his home country, more specifically his home town in Ijebu Ode.
He started building a children’s playground in his father’s village in Ijebu Ode.
On February 29, he shared pictures of the unfinished playground on his Instagram page. He explained that he’s building the playground to engage children in fun activities that will further enable them explore or develop various talents.
He stated that the playground had to be launched by his mother in its unfinished state because she had to leave Nigeria for London the following day. Skepta believes the completion of the project will go a long way in inspiring the children.
Hian! Why ‘launch’ an incomplete playground? Why not just wait? In fact, where is the playground?
As far as we are concerned Skepta’s lovely mummy rocked iro and buba with red beads to cut a yellow ribbon for a red dunlop tyre storage facility. Because we see no playground.
Nigerians responded to the story of this unfinished playground on social media.
Abducted and far away from home, 14 year old Ese Oruru is an underage bride to her captor and is currently being held in Kano.
On August 12 2015, Ese was taken by a man from her mother’s shop in Opolo, Bayelsa.
Her mother Mrs Rose Oruru, a food vendor, had returned from the market to meet her daughter’s absence.
Learning that Ese was last seen at 11 am of that day, a worried Mrs Oruru began a search for her daughter.
She also informed the police and some of the northern artisans who bought food from her. She later learned of her daughter’s abduction from a man named Mohammed.
The story was corroborated by another man named Dan Kano who promised to help bring Ese back home.
Apparently, a certain Yinusa sold his commercial tricycle, packed up and took Ese to Kano for the sole purpose of marrying her and forcefully converting her to Islam.
Dan Kano rather than fufill his promise, sent a man named Rabiu to accompany Mrs Oruru to a village in Kura, Kano where Ese was being held.
They presented the case to the community chief of Kura but unfortunately, he wasn’t sympathetic and mentioned Ese being held at the Emir’s quarters. He also told the anguished mother that Ese had converted to Islam and was no longer the daughter of the Orurus.
Rather than getting frustrated, Mrs Oruru only became more determined and marched to the said quarters with Rabiu.
They were both barred from entering the palace but went on to report to Kwani police station after an elderly man alerted the police.
Upon obtaining permission from the police station in his village, the Chief of Kura brought Ese to the Emir’s palace on August 17 but she was not granted access to see her mother.
Following several visits to the police station and transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Command in Kano and Bayelsa states, some men including Dan Kano were arrested in Bayelsa.
Also, Yinusa contacted Mrs Oruru over the phone stating how he sought permission from Dan Kano before taking Ese with him.
How does someone seek permission to take a teenage girl away from a man that is not related to her in any manner?
Ese’s parents made another trip to Kwani police station on September 2 in the company of Dan Kano and the Chairman of the Hausa community in Yenogoa.
They were received by the Emir of Kano who claimed to have previously sent a letter demanding Ese’s release on August 26.
Ese’s parents turned to Non Governmental Organisations such as the Child Protection Network who have raised awareness to help secure her safe return to her family.
The Inspector-General of police however credited the delay in tackling the case to the Emir’s absence due to his Hajj Umrah trip.
This raises several questions. Should the police not be completely in charge of the case?
Also, how many other teenage girls have been kidnapped and forced into marriages as such?
How is it possible for her captor to be walking free despite being responsible for the kidnap of a minor?
Why is a community chief preventing Ese’s release with obvious backing from the police in his community?
Forced marriages stay on top of the list of things that negatively affect female teenagers. Kidnapped girls are also usually sexually exploited and manipulated in several other ways by their captors. We hope Ese gets safely reunited with her family.
The most critically-acclaimed Academy Awards happened recently and some of the things that happened made us nearly fall off our chairs in shock and laughter. Here are some of the things that made the Oscars feel like a Nollywood movie script.
The host of the awards, Chris Rock began by throwing major shade at the organisers for the lack of diversity the categories had.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsTs-xNuBms
He came mercilessly for everybody.
He then proceeded to troll Will and Jada Smith for boycotting the Oscars.
He reminded us of Patience Ozokwor, the one and only revered queen of shade in Nollywood.
Only her can begin an opening scene launching missiles of shade on everybody.
After being snubbed four times, and pulling an Nkiru Sylvanus on the world with his role in The Revenant movie…
And being extremely pitiful…
Can you spot the difference between this man and Nkiru Sylvanus?
Leonardo Dicarprio finally won the Oscar he had been crying for.
YASS!
And just like how we sometimes expect to see Ramsey Nouah slay a nice movie and the directors choose to snub him and slap Emeka Ike on our faces instead…
Because one-syllable-at-a-time-speaking Emeka does it better than everybody else.
The Academy also chose to snub awesome nominated movies like The Martian and Star Wars and awarding movies like Spotlight and The Hateful Eight.
This Ela was unnecessary sha.
And the mother of plot twists, right after making this ridiculous statement….
This happened.
When you have to do the dance of shame in the market.
Not to forget, the dramatic wardrobe assemble.
Because stylish clothes are too mainstream.
When you have to be young and be someone’s old fairy god mother at the same time.
The lack of diversity is currently being addressed by the Academy. In the light of that, we look forward to when Nigerian and in general, African movies will make a big impact in the international scene.
So, for as long as there have been “township” and “village” and especially with the advent of Nollywood, there’s been the belief that village girls are better than city girls.
Why would anyone care about who is ‘better’?
Why a comparison is even necessary is hella confusing but ok oh.
According to a proponent on Nairaland, these are the reasons why they are better:
Attitude
Village ladies grow up with the right orientation and attitude that boost their moral values and norms this can melt the heart of every man of “goodwill”. Village ladies are brought up with a drilling knowledge of respect and attitude.
Fidelity
The city lifestyle is a wild one and most ladies in the city have been swept away by the tide. Some women find it difficult to deal with the sexual strength and capacity of their husband/BOO because they have been exposed to different sexual escapades. Ironically, even their fellow city men feel that their already explored sexuality might pose the possibility of marital infidelity. They feel more confident in marrying village ladies who — to an extent — can guarantee fidelity.
Submissive
Either by nature or nurture, men feel they are superior to women and like it when they get a lot of respect from women — a reason they hate any woman that will challenge their superiority. City girls have been so exposed to similar and equal life styles that can lead to tension in the home. Men know that village ladies pose no threat when it comes to class and level and feel more comfortable with that rather than engaging in a class tug of war from city ladies.
Homely
Village ladies have very homely qualities that make a man happy. They know it is their duties to do the dishes, laundry, cook, make the home and still take care of the children where necessary. City ladies however feel that the modern world in its unwritten law desire men to also help in the house chores.
Career
The issue of career is always a big problem to men. As much as every man love successful women, they dislike it when a woman’s job becomes her priority and he is relegated to the second position. The higher a woman goes, the more a man finds her unapproachable. Village ladies are very enterprising instead and know how to combine the two — her career and home.
Understanding
Village ladies are cool-headed and have learnt to tame their emotion so as to allow them understand their spouse.
City ladies though educated and intelligent sometimes lack the basic sense required in understanding the mood and turmoil of a man and this can lead to tension when they cannot act appropriately. Every right thinking man would rather marry a village lady knowing that there is a telepathic understanding between the two of them.
Economical
Village ladies understand moderation and have learnt the skills to economize. City ladies find it difficult to deal with less than they have been exposed to and some can even raise hell if they do not get what they are used to. The humble upbringing of most village ladies equips them for any situation whether rain or shine. This is main reason most village ladies are not “GOLD DIGGERS”.
Hian!
Basically, this man is saying that “city women” are not wife material because they’ve been given excess freedom and education, so they have developed a huge ego and do not see men as important. Or because these city women live the city life, they’re not equipped to handle anything life throws at them. I say that is total bullshit!

Those making their marks in the world are getting younger and younger.
At just seventeen years old, David Uzochukwu has already achieved a lot!
Born in Innsbruck, Austria in 1998, to a Nigerian father and European mother, he has already received recognition from photosharing site Flickr, camera manufacturers Canon and photography community EyeEm, who awarded him their 2014 Photographer of the Year– which is a pretty big deal.
He takes photos for The Paris Opera, Adobe Photoshop and Yale School of Art.
Adobe commissioned twenty-five visual artists to create a piece in honour of Photoshop’s 25th anniversary and he was one of them. He was also created visuals for The Paris Opera (Opéra Nationale de Paris).
Through photography, he expresses his yearning to be free to live as an artist and who he is.
His photos shows his love for bold colours and his yearning from freedom.
David wants to create work that actually changes something.
He is a big defender of intersectionality and cares about anything that keeps someone from living the best life they possibly could.
His newer works portrays people that are being discriminated against at different levels. Through this, their stories are being told.
Let’s start with a few questions.
What is Olajumoke Orisaguna’s husband’s name? What is his job?
If you were able to correctly answer these questions, then congratulations, you’re one of the few Nigerians that’s actually looking beneath the surface of Olajumoke’s success.
For your information, his name is Sunday Orisaguna. He is an artisan and makes aluminium doors and windows.
Olajumoke’s story has taken Nigeria and the world by storm and since she stumbled into Tinie Tempah’s photoshoot, it’s been all anyone can talk about.
But have we paused to think about her husband? What is his role in all this? How can we make sure he isn’t left out of his wife’s success?
My thoughts today – Praise Fowowe The Husband of the Breadseller versus The Husband of the ModelI appreciate you…
Posted by Praise Fowowe on Wednesday, February 17, 2016
He shared..”The Husband of the Breadseller versus The Husband of the Model: For the record, no story has been told of her marital relationship prior her stardom. The Yoruba speaking Olajumoke who was intellectually compatible with her husband left the house that fateful day. But, there is a new Jumoke now, one who has become a cynosure and the latest celeb in the nation.”
He continued.. “What role would this play in her family life? May I state here that all the corporate giants that have suddenly rolled out their drums to beat a new dance for Jumoke, the beautiful bride, should also extend the same gestures to her husband so we do not end up with a celeb whose marriage may struggle in days to come.”
These are some of his suggestions:
– “The husband must be made to go through the same level of training Jumoke is exposed to. There is no point giving this man a modern wife when he may remain an ancient man. If Jumoke, the celebrity, is going to be an English speaking one, her husband must also become one.”– “Carefully manage the relationship between Jumoke, her husband and their extended family. This is Africa and we all know the implications.”– “Keep Jumoke close to TY Bello or Tara Fela-Durotoye; these are two women who have been able to match corporate success with domestic success. A scandal on our beautiful bride is a news we would not want to hear as all sorts of juicy offers will come her way. It takes a values driven person to resist some of the offers which may come from some quarters that I shall not mention here. Jumoke needs to be this values driven person; she needs to be groomed to be this person.“
QUESTION: If Olajumoke was a man, would anyone care about finding the spouse a job?
If you have ever thought getting a perfect CPGA at the university is impossible, well think again.
A Nigerian student recently graduated from the University of Lagos with a CGPA of 5.0.
This means he scored As in all the courses he studied throughout the 4 years he spent at the university.
Ayodele Dada Daniel of the department of Psychology has set the record as the best graduating student in the history of the University of Lagos.
He is also the first Nigerian student to ever graduate with a perfect CGPA and will be graduating along with 10,907 other finalists from the University on March 1.
Nigerians weren’t left out of the gist.
You don't seem to understand what a 5.0 CGPA is..That's the perfect score..That's the holy grail..That's the Oscar, Ballon d'or and grammy.
Ever wondered what hair looked like for black men, over time? Well, WatchCut has created a video to answer that!
The video shows that hair for black men was a political statement. It also shows how the society influenced how the black men styled their hair.
From the hats in the 1910s.
Black men in those times never left their houses without one.
To the side parts in the 30s.
Most of our grandparents rocked this style.
To the black berrets in the 60s.
This was the signature look of the Black Panthers, who were part of the Civil Rights Movement.
To the big afro in the 70s.
Having this kind of hair was a political statement at the time. It signalled rebellion. It showed that one was choosing to not conform to societal expectations.
It is a photo of one of the few tanneries in Kano and their quality is so good that they supply Louis Vuitton!
The tannery is owned by an Igbo businessman. His name is Chief Koffy Ndubuisi Udeagha.
Though we’re impressed that a local company supplies such an important fashion house, we still wonder why we can’t export our locally made shoes and other leather products?
We’re sure that the prices these processed leather materials are sold to Louis Vuitton are nowhere near how much they sell their finished designer bags and shoes.

The photoshoot was done by Nigerian-American photographer Ike Ude.
They are:
Alex Ekubo
Ozy Agu
Denola Adepetun a.k.a Denola Grey
Nobel Igwe
Uti Nwachukwu
Mai Atafo
Banky W
Julius Agwu
Gideon Okeke
Jim Iyke
We would have loved it if our hot Nigerian brothers like RMD, Basket Mouth, Ebuka, Don Jazzy, Iyanya, and the rest made this list though.

Her clothing line was her clapback for her haters. ChubiiLine was named after one of the names the bullies called her “Chubby” and is targeted for children, adults and also features plus-size pieces.
Her clothes were showcased for the first time at the 2016 New York Fashion Week and she has become the first child plus-size designer to grace the fashion show.

A lot of Nigerians have been displeased with our honourable president, Muhammadu Buhari and they are not hiding their mouth.
A creative Nigerian has created a mixtape, just like the Ministers List we made months ago.
Twitter user @Dousche_Bag created this epic mixtape about Buhari’s performance so far, using the titles of popular songs by popular American musicians as his inspiration!
The West African Examinations Commissions (WAEC), the major examination body for West African secondary school finalists is currently under fire.
As a result of an anti-corruption crack down on the examination bodies in Nigeria, a financial discrepancy was discovered by the minister of finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun
And while Nigerians were stilll processing that information, these tweets dropped on Twitter.
This NGO requested the list of best student in each state in Nigeria from WAEC for Scholarship. See WAEC's response. pic.twitter.com/ACWLFHRHr5
As expected, the tweet generated massive reactions from Nigerians. They mentioned how convenient it was for WAEC to announce the failure of the candidates at no cost.
So respected veteran actress of the Hollywood industry made a really controversial statement recently, when she was in Berlin heading up her first international film jury.
When she was asked if she was familiar with world cinema, particularly films from Africa and the Middle East, she said she had recently seen the Jordanian film “Theeb,” about a Bedouin boy on a hazardous mission in the desert, and also “Timbuktu,” about Islamist militants taking over the fabled Malian city.
But what really caught everyone’s attention was:
The thing that I notice is that there is a core of humanity that travels right through every culture. And after all, we’re all from Africa originally, you know. We’re all Berliners; we’re all Africans, really.
This statement followed an uproar over the all-white Oscar acting nominee selection for a second straight year. The brouhaha forced the movie industry to confront how blacks, Asians and Latinos are represented in Hollywood.
It later came to light that Meryl Streep’s “We’re all Africans, really” comment was a direct response to a question about Arab and African films, not a response to questions about the Film Festival’s all white jury, as originally suggested.
But according to science, we really are all Africans, so even if she was taken out of context, she’s might still be right.

Kanye West is the new Twitter fingers, take a break Meek Mill.
Top class rapper, designer of clothes (that we don’t know who wears), seasoned producer and patron saint of drama recently dropped inspirational bars (tweets) to live by, on one of the days his fingers came alive.
1. When someone wants to act childish in the exam hall.
So, this UK online pharmacy, Superdrug Online Doctors, published nineteen photoshopped images of the same man showing the ideal body type from different countries.
This is the original picture.
Each image was photoshopped to represent a specific country’s ideal body type, by a graphic designer from that country. Countries included the Philippines, Croatia, Russia, Pakistan, Macedonia, Indonesia, Egypt and Colombia.
Superdrug gave designers “minimal instructions” and free reign to do with the original image as they saw fit.
These were the results.
The designers photoshopped everything from hair colour to build and facial hair.
It was all fine and dandy until we saw this one. This one of the ideal Nigerian man.
We have questions.
Like…
WHO EDITED THIS IMAGE?
WHAT WAS HE OR SHE THINKING?
DO NIGERIAN MEN ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE THIS?
Do they not know that RMD is the ideal Nigerian man?
Witchcraft is very rampant in Nigeria. At least, some religious people will have you believe that. And who bears the brunt of it? Children who have been deemed witches by their families, because of what the pastor said or because the child is acting “abnormally”.
That was the situation of this three year old boy.
The child who couldn’t fend for himself was left for dead in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state after being branded a witch. People passed by this child and did nothing to help him.
The severely malnourished child was rescued by Anja Ringgren Lovén, who gave him water and Digestive biscuit as shown in this picture that went viral.
Anja Ringgren Lovén, the Danish founder of the African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation. She sold everything she owned and moved to Nigeria three years ago, where she found this organization, with her partner David, through which she uses education “to break superstition in Nigeria”.

We love Olajumoke and her story is touching and amazing but we can’t help but feel that some people are not as well-intentioned as they claim. We wish Olajumoke a bright future sha.
Acts of kindness little or large, go a long way in changing the lives of others. Many people have been rendered homeless or helpless due to one situation or the other.
This Facebook user, Ray Ugba Murphy found an old lady who appeared to have lost her memory wandering around the streets of Calabar.
Not remembering any name of even one member of her family, she only recalls her home town, Ikot Abasi.
As he further explained in his post..
I found this old lady wandering the streets of Calabar and she is obviously suffering from dementia! She has lost her memory due to old age! She cannot recall anything. Not the names of her family members or the name of her street. she only recalls that she is a native of Ikot Abasi! She probably stepped out of the house and can’t find her way back. Obviously, her people would be looking for her.
Please help share her pictures until someone can recognise her and come for her. We need to get her home to her family. Much thanks for sharing and do keep sharing!
He shared her pictures and asked Nigerians to help her return to her family.
He even fed her..
Although his post got shared more than 500 times by concerned and well meaning Nigerians, she remains out of contact with her family.
Taking matters into his hands, Ray Morphy checked her into a Catholic-run old People’s Home in Calabar where she can be easily traced by relations.
Kudos to Ray Morphy for his act of kindness and compassion for the elderly. He is an example of the well-meaning Nigerians who would stop at nothing to help others. We hope the old lady’s relations are located on time.
