On November 30, Mark Zuckberg and Priscilla Chan welcomed their first child, Max, into the world. Her birth has inspired them to give about 99% of their combined Facebook shares, currently about $45 billion (around ₦90 trillion), away for a philanthropic cause.

Our first reaction was…

It made us wonder, what would happen if it was a Nigerian that had all these riches. This is what a rich Nigerian would do:
1. His wife would go abroad for her child delivery.

2. After which she’d stay back for some vacation time.

He would show his wealth through his child by:
3. First, a baby shower.

4. Then naming ceremony.

5. Next, the child’s dedication, if they’re Christians.

6. Don’t forget the baby’s first birthday.

8. The wife would get a brand new car as ‘thank you’ from her husband.

9. As well as one for himself, for a job well-done.

10. He would invest in landed properties in choice locations.

11. And buy a house in Banana Island.

12. He would also dabble in politics.

13. Of course, as public service (or eye service), he would donate to charity, on behalf of his family. But it definitely wouldn’t be $45 billion.
