You know, I’m old enough to have been alive during the GSM boom in Nigeria. There were certain phones that were everywhere back then that I think should be in a cell phone hall of fame.

Lets’s get to it:

1) Motorola RAZR V3

Nothing felt as good as dramatically slamming this phone shut after an annoying ass call.

2) Sony Ericsson W810i

This phone having its own music button was revolutionary because it meant that you could move between the music player and other apps, long before the Symbian OS showed up.

3) The xpress music 5300

The flex of this phone was a mess but having this phone at the time when it came out was the ultimate flex.

4) Blackberry Curve 2

This phone’s tiny keys and scrolling mechanism were annoying AF but it was affordable so we had no choice but to stan.

5) Xpress Music 5130

This and the blue one. Sleek, slim, and affordable queens.
